friends of crookston castle and grounds
Following the great success of the Storytellers in Residence for Crookston Castle project, the Friends of Crookston Castle and Grounds group has been formed to 'ensure that this important heritage resource is well used and appreciated for the benefit of current and future generations and shall promote public awareness of Crookston Castle and Grounds through activities and events'. (Friends group constitution)
The committee has been meeting regularly over the past months, and are working on accessing funding to make sure that the popularity and profile of the castle and surrounding greenspaces continue to grow.
A short animated film depicting life at the castle in the 15th century is available to view by following this link. Serf's UP
