The Village is a storytelling centre based in St James' (Pollok) Parish Church.

The Village provides a facility for the local and wider community - a place that by the use of story engages with young and old, both by the telling of stories and by the recounting of life experiences.

St James' Church itself has an interesting story having been built in Pollokshields about one hundred years ago and then moved stone by stone to Pollok between 1948 and 1950.  Post-war reparation money given to the congregation of Greek Thompson's Queen's Park church was generously donated for this venture.
